Layout design for laptop screens?

Hey all.

Back from the trip to Firenze (which was very nice, thank you very much) I managed to get my view layouts sorted thanks to the great tutorial by Will. This is on my PC at home. I thought I´d also install PSX on a laptop that I´d run networked, but also as a stand alone for when travelling and such. So, my question is what sort of layout design that is better suited for the small screen of a laptop, say about 14-15"?

I´m thinking that I´d focus on using the keyboard keys as much as possible, not "wasting" screen area for clicking buttons. By necessity scrolling and zooming is more common with the smaller screen size? How does something like this sound, mostly tweaks of Wills layout. Screen 2 = "Home"

1. Handflying, with a bottom part for PFD/ND and clock and a top section for the viewscreen.
2. "Active MCP handling" with a small viewscreen, smaller PFD/ND, large MCP and one CDU.
3. Comms and CDU(L)+(R).
4. Startup screen with fuel switches, EICAS screens and parts of the OH panel.
5. Captain panorama
6. FO panorama.
7. P7/P6 (if I get the terminology correct), i.e. circuit breakers and "stuff".
8. ???
9. Overhead panel, perhaps with one subsection for the light switches, the rest for the overhead panel.

Tord,

if you happen to find the "perfect" layout, please make it available for us!  I am one of those few with only one monitor in my sim PC, so, optimized layouts are really a must :)
