Foreflight connector 2.0 for PSX (beta) released

Hi all,

v2 beta has been released: http://www.inside.net/ss/

New features include:
- PSX host configurable (i.e. Ffc2.jar can be run on any computer in the network)
- PSX traffic is sent to Foreflight
- Ground speed is calculated correctly based on PSX positions (used to display TAS which is incorrect)
- Position no longer disappears when stationary.

This version expires on Jan 31, 2015.

Hi Balt,

I'm using version 1 and having problems. I set up PSX server, check box from your app. In ForeFlight app, I see brief PSX icon connection for 2 secs then disappears. I cannot connect.

I also tried version 2 beta but app tells me it already expired.

Thanks, but what locale settings, I.e. U.S. English, japanese, german...?

It's odd that it thinks it expired. I suspect a date format issue.

Hi,

I'm sorry it's still not working. I haven't seen that behaviour. When you click "More" in Foreflight, then Devices, do you see a device called "PSX"? Make sure it's enabled by tapping on it, then tapping the "enabled" switch.

If not, perhaps you're in the wrong network. You need to be in the same network as the Foreflight connector application. To make sure, can you please tell me:

- your iPad's IP Address,
- your computer running PSX's IP Address
- your computer running Ffc2.jar's IP Address
