Found this interesting post at AVSIM.

I wonder if this is what's being used by PSX-Earth?

Might those "A-Vars" allow for 6DOF implementation of the aircraft position?

It needs to be programmed, but since there's already a similar app - PSX-Earth - I wonder if the author is considering GE View ... ?

Anyway, it always depends on a good Internet connection and there's no weather rendering, and as far as I can tell, no daylight transition either...

PSX_Earth started its life as more or less a moving map, hence no bank / roll / pitch (also the KISS principle was applied).
 
The question of adding these features seems now moot, however: it looks as if PSX_Earth is doomed anyway and will only work for 342 more days*. :shock:
