Hello everyone,

I have been using PSX on my 27" Mac.

I now have a new powerfull windows machine which I want to add to my network, but I still haven't decided what screen to get.

I want a lot of extra display space so I am considering rather then buying another 27" screen to get a 40" TV.

Normal HD TVs just have a 1920x1080 resolution as you know, now I haven't seen what PSX looks like on 1920x1080 display. I love the high resolution of my Mac so I don't want to move away from that.

So my question is, is it worth getting a 4K 40" TV for PSX?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,

I'd say yes, wthout any single hesitation, and if you can afford it! A 40" screen in 1920 x 1080 will make huge pixels, if viewed for a cockpit use, instead as a TV: I guess that you'll be at maximum 1 meter away, instead of several meters for watching TV or movies.
I got used (addicted?) to 2.5K (2560 x 1600) on a 30"... and PSx is definitely impressive there...

Ok that sounds good then.
