Support for AirDisplay

Hi,
I'm considering the following setup:

1) 27" Windows 8 PC as the main screen.
2) 11" MacBook Air for instructor station/other panels.
3) iPad using AirDisplay or similar for overhead/center panel.

Has anyone tried AirDisplay or similar with PSX? Not sure how their driver will handle Java accelerated graphics. Basically it appears as an extra monitor that is streamed to the iPad screen.

Hello,

the AirDisplay FAQs mention that it does NOT support Java-based programs.

On the iPad, it will only display a blank display then.

Too bad, thanks for the quick response.

Any other ideas about how to do this? Worst case scenario is Ill just use the free CDU app on the iPad.

Try one of the VNC apps? A remote desktop may do it.

Tried 2 different VNC apps with PSX, they were all too slow, unfortunately.

Only using PSX Remote CDU, works fast enough.

Tried TightVNC? I don't have PSX yet put its usually a bit faster than the others IF the client supports TIGHT encoding. Don't know if there are iPad clients that do.
