Garry,

I worked with Anas for about an hour today trying to get things working. He has completed the following steps:

Ran Simconnect.msi on the FSX computer where he is also running the PSX Server

Edited the SimConnect.xml file with the IP address of the server

Copied it in the appropriate AppData folder for FSX

Edited the SimConnect.cfg file with the appropriate IP address

Created the runway data file

Set the PSX Server preferences for the server and boost server

Set the IP address for the Server

His setup is identical to mine (which works) and he can't connect to FSX so I suggested that he post in the forum and give you a shot at it.

Cheers,

Jon

Hi Anas and Jon,

Check that Windows firewall is allowing the apps to communicate with each other.

Check the same for any anti-virus security software.

Use ip address 127.0.0.1 if everything is on the same computer.

Hope this helps. Maybe others who have had this problem can offer further suggestions.

Cheers,
Garry

Hi Jon and Garry,

It's connected now after I change the IP address to 127.0.0.1 in the Cfg file and xml plus in the VisualPSX connection.

Thank you,
Best regards,
Anas
