I can't  configure any HID controler (joysticks) mean analogue axis (buttons is no problem)

Where find some HowTo joysticks in PS1?

Hello seeb,

You have to open the menu: "joystick mapper"
(in the blue window that appears if you move your mouse over
the "cockpit window")
and click on the rectangular fields besides the axis indication
to assign the control surfaces to the joystick axes.
Then calibrate the joystick in the joystick menu of the fmc.

Drückst Du den Knüppel nach vorn, werden die Häuser größer, wenn Du den Knüppel ziehst, werden sie kleiner. Dies gilt nur, wenn Du den Knüppel nicht dauernd ziehst, dann werden die Häuser auch größer.

More specifically: if you use Win95 or Win98, your controllers will show up in PS1.

If you use WinNT, 2000, or XP, your controllers will NOT show up in PS1. You need 747IPC to map these controllers to PS1. The program at http://www.hoppie.nl/747install/ will help you installing 747IPC.

If you can get moving numbers on the PS1 blue calibration pages, you have gotten it to work. How far did you get?

NOT show up in PS1... but I used to install ps1 file "747ipc-3.1.2-install.exe"

When reinstall with connected joy (saitek aviator+ Mjoy16) PS1 crash imedialty when press "Joystick Mapper"

Maybe in weekend proof "stand" PS1 on Ubuntu

Hi,

It is possible that your joystick has too many buttons than 747IPC can identify and handle (I have a Saitek X52 and had the same problem).

Here is the content of my winps1.ini file (which is in the main PS1 directory):

aileron=J0A0
elevator=J0A1
rudder=J0A3
throttle=J0A2
button1=J0B0
button2=J0B1
button3=J0B2
button4=J0B3
button5=J0B4
button6=J0B5
button7=J0B7
displaysize=640x480

It may work for you or you may have to change a thing or two but give it a try.

MJoy16 - 112 buttons
saitek Aviator 13+hat (x2 [mode A and B])

Working but litle wrong ... saitek As joy
(SDL  reports 1 joystick(s) found.)

Stick (0) Saitek...  5 axes,14 buttons, 0 hats ... hmmm

In fact ps1 found Joy but 5 sec gone to sinkrate ... rudder left gone right, right gone left :)

maybe when understanding how setup Joy be easy to edit your config.

Calibration the joystick has 2 steps.
First, PS1 (747IPC) should identify your joystick. You can know it happen when you see response to joystick movement in the "blue pages". It is possible that you should change a thing or two in my configuration file so it will fit your joystick.

The second step is to carefully read and execute the steps describe in the PS1.3 manual (pages 19-21).

When you done that, it should work just fine.
