and preferably the "NCEP High Resolution Global Forecast System (1 degree GFS)", and the sub-section "Near Real-Time and Historical ".

For instance clicking in "FTP 003" you'll get to:

ftp://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/GFS/Grid3/

This is GRIB and another, I believe, proprietary format ( have to investigate further... )
