"No regrets" (that song may be before your time, though), but I feel confident that you will be very happy with your, er, loss???    ;)

Welcome to the friendliest simming community on the planet.      :D

See you around (here),

Cheers,

Quote from: tango4Okay, guys,
I'll think I'll have to go to the police tonight.
347€ have mysteriously disappeared from my bank account.
It seems a certain Mr Aerosoft took them.

You won't regret it!

I can only add to all the other voices in this thread, although not so eloquently: "You are going to be presently surprised by this gem of software!"

Charles - I cannot add anything but to welcome you to the finest online community I have ever known. I'm sure you won't regret the cost of PSX.

John - hats off to you sir. Forty years is an impressive record in any line of work but particularly in the hot seat to safely deliver so many of us to our destinations. Enjoy your retirement and the extra time it gives you to re-live your career with PSX!

I am a flight dispatcher at a major US Freight carrier. We dont operate the 744F (I wish), but we do operate the B777F.

I recently flew an around the world ops observation ride to NRT, CDG, MUC, FRA from the US (got back last night), and the detail that HH has in PSX is incredible.  Everything the crew did I was able to follow because of PSX for interacting with the FMS/MCP/AFDS.  While there are differences in the symbology the 777 uses relative to the 744, they are minor. Even though I have heard crews talking about uplinking winds, CPDLC and FANS issues, etc., with PSX, I can now honestly say I now understand what they are talking about.

Get PSX, study the hell out of the manual before you dive in, you'll be happy you did.
