Quick computer question.

Hi,

Does anyone know if an AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor can run Windows XP (32-bit version) as its only operating system. I have a X64 machine in which I am thinking of installing XP 32. Would this work? All other hardware components are 32-bit compatible.

As far as I know, every 64-bit PC CPU can run all 32-bit stuff, but it is like running just 4 cylinders of a V8. You sort of throw away capacity. But it should work.
