Hello GodAtum, the profile I use in TopCat and PSPX is the 747-400 (not Combi, not freighter, not ER), with PW4056-P3 engines. I don't have any user-created or aftermarket aircraft profiles.

On the subject of PFPX....

Like all my add-ons PFPX is now at AIRAC 1408. However, a search of the forum reveals that PSX is shipped with data for AIRAC 1403 (see Hardy's reply at http://aerowinx.com/forum/topic.php?post=14599#post14599 ).

I therefore assume that, for full compatibility, prior to planning a route for PSX I need to re-apply AIRAC 1403 (to PFPX only - I don't think TOPCAT was included, at that point)?

Cheers,

Not necessarily. The route files generated by a current database may include new fixes, but they are included in the route file, they are not re-calculated using the older PSX database. This is intentional. As long as you are not going to stray off your route, you will be fine.

There will always be small data problems with the fast-moving real world data. Unfortunately real-world data comes at real-world prices, so PSX cannot provide 4-week cycles.

Hi Jeroen!

Thank you for that. OK, I'll give it a try as-is (I wasn't looking forward to hopping [no pun intended] back and forth between 1403 and the current version, anyway).   8)

Cheers,
