Hi Hardy,

This is an impressive list. We may be confident that alot of B744's will fly for a long time.

Will there become more models available in PSX, Cargolux for exemple?

Many greetings and thank you so much for the good work.

Hi Michel.

Quote from: Michel VandaeleWill there become more models available in PSX, Cargolux for exemple?
I'm working on it right now ... :-)

Cargolux was already in PS1. So, no big problem, I'm also converting PS1 models to PSX models, but only those models which are still in real-world use today. PSX has more features and options than PS1, though. There's some research required in some areas ...

Not complete yet. Work in progress!

Below are the three pages that need to be set for a model file:

Does anybody know if Air France' F-GEXB, F-GISA and F-GISD are still active?

Hardy Heinlin

Thanks!

So, F-GEXB, at least, is still alive.

Thank you very much!! :)

Hardy Heinlin

I'd like to add an All Nippon model, too, but I don't know the required details.

Tetsuo

Sorry, I don't know the details.
I know their models alive today don't have winglets because of  their shortrange operation.
All winglets models have already  retired at All Nippon airways. What a shame.
But,I'm very glad to know that JAL JA8081 will come back in PSX.
Thank you, Hardy. :D

HH:

I should be able to get the info on these options for the following:

- ANA
- Korean Air
- United

Though it may take some time. What is the best way to get them to you?

Hardy Heinlin

Tetsuo, you're welcome :-)

For PSX modelling, it wouldn't matter if All Nippon models have winglets or not. On PSX's "Model/Airframe" page the user can adjust the physical drag of a model. The FMC software can be adjusted as well on the PERF FACTORS page so that ETA and fuel calculations can take the increased drag into account.

Stefan, thank you. I'll be making UAL files today. Please don't send manuals. Thanks! If you, or someone else, knows the required variables, I'm happy to add further models. Only the variables shown on the three screenshots above are required. (No hurry, by the way.)

Of course, PSX users can also add models on their own (on the Instructor pages). One can even make several clones of a common configuration and then give every clone an individual ICAO code, selcal and drag/fuel deviation, so that each aircraft gets its own "character".

Cheers,

|-|ardy

Hardy Heinlin

By the way, the engine model numbers on the second screenshot are dynamic. There are actually six engine models. What engine models are selectable depends on whether an ER aircraft is selected or not.

Hi Hardy,

It may be worth noting that Qantas has one extra configuration type. VH-OJA to OJR differ slightly from OJS-OJU. Happy to shoot you an email with the differences itemised.

Also might be worth noting that Cathay used to have a 60' call back in the Kai Tak days.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Joe.

Hardy,

If you need the Air India specifics let me know.

Here's a good shot of VH-OJU with the retrofitted ISFD and LCD IDUs

Ah, Virgin Atlantic's G-VFAB.

My favourite 747

Joe Corrigan

Hi John et all,

The whole QF fleet has been retrofitted with ISFD's LCDs and most also have new style MCPS. The difference is WBCs and auto anti ice among others.

Joe.
