VNAV page title VREF+100 (engine out)

Good evening,

is there any real-life FMC operator on the forum who can recall what the VNAV page title really shows in an engine out scenario? (Manufacturer or version doesn't matter  probably.)

When you check your manuals (including Bulfer's) for a description of a typical engine-out take-off with FMS support, you will come across a VNAV page title that looks something like this:

ACT VREF+100 CLB

(B777: "ACT VREF+80 CLB")

This title is supposed to be displayed when an engine fails (N2 difference > 10%) and when the ENG OUT> prompt is not selected yet.

Now I wonder whether the documents mean the "VREF+100" literally, in words. Or whether the title should rather display the value in knots. Say, VREF+100 be 263 knots, the title possibly reads:

ACT 263KT CLB

A giant question for mankind, but a small leap for the cosmetics.

Thanks!

Do you know what's in the title when I enter 320/.87 in line 2L?

I assume it will read ...

ACT 320KT CLB when the airspeed is below .870M.

... and will change to ...

ACT .870M CLB when 320 KIAS are faster than .870M.

I.e. the title will never show the KIAS/Mach pair ACT 320/.87 CLB, correct?

Hardy, the VNAV 1/3 page title never shows XXXKT/M.XXX as a pair.
