Gotta love the Ebay comments:

Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used.

here's something else to keep you busy while you wait for the price to come down:

Argh. And I thought that some of my software source codes were messy spaghetti.

Doesn't matter though as it is "PLUG N PLAY" and thus by implication runs under Windows!

sure its a good price but the shipping is going to cost more than the deck it will require a wide load permits pilot cars and a police escort can only travel at certain times .. trust me I know have just completed the same exercise  and its over 17ft wide and 10 ft tall bank on another 20k to move it.. if I knew how to post pictures I would show you... the other thing with a real deck is your need a home for the bugger.. I am quite lucky as I have reasonable ceiling and floor space but for the average person its takes up a lot of space...

Don't tease us like that!

Set up a Flicker, Photobucket, or DropBox account, upload the photos and send us a link!

Need help? Let us know, but these are fairly self explanatory on their sites. DropBox requires you to download some software. All free.

well I got drop box and I can not get it to tell what the link is

Jeroen Hoppenbrouwers

Right-click on the shared folder.
Dropbox.
Get Link.

Alternatively, use:

Shiv Mathur

And it may sound obvious, but before all that, make sure that dropbox
is actually running!  (The icon will show in your system tray.)

Nice hobby :)
Whats that, an old 747-200 with steam-gauges?

the mad hatter

yes sir n682up has all the old steam bits but changing it to a 400 will start a proper diary with pictures and then post progress

stekeller

But originally a Pan Am and then Flying Tigers machine!?

What a piece of history. I am jealous.

Hi guys, I picked up an ex-JAL 747-400 for 20k. There are no seats and no electronic panels. Everything else is intact including the right rear cb panel. 10k for shipping on a flat pack to Perth WA. You will need a flat pack if you want your control linkages to be intact. Cockpit docks in at the end of this month.
