Yes. Sure we could. But it is difficult to control the real screen brightness by PSX. And I believed no sim builder did that for now. Haha. So I am actually looking for a way to make the Seecon CDU Screen works as the psx, to simulate the cdu display brightness by changing the darkness and thickness of the letters. :p

For those interested, what's been done here is a home built glare shield set using O/C front panels and Korry's, with a Simstack electronics backbone. Thanks needs to be given to Rod at Sim Solutions. The setup is full featured in every way including back light control through PSX. The concentric controls all use readily available and quite cheap rotary switches and encoders modified and arranged to give the required concentric functionality.
Cheers, JG.

You don't need a PSX /PSXseecon variable for that. This is a local issue, you must use the adjustment possibilities of the screen you use to show the CDU window on

@Jack, Yes they are in PSXseecon too.

Thank you Hardy and Nico
Yes. These are the inputs for the three CDU brightness pots. I did already interface them with my CDUs. But what I talked is actually the CDU scree function from PSXseecon. Here is the section I copied from the manual:

//
3.19 CDU screen
...
The main window of PSXseecon can be changed dynamically into a CDU screen window. To do this add one of these lines to PSXseecon.cfg:
CDU_L=1 CDU_C=1 CDU_R=1
...
//

This function is wonderful! And save a lot GPU. But the brightness of the letters from Seecon cdu window seems to be fixed. I am actually looking for a way to adjust the secon CDU brightness, not the CDU screen from the original PSX. Haha. Don't know if it is included with the current version. If it dose, how to set it up?

Regards
Jack

Hi Will

I was thinking more like Gary's take off performance page on the simfest dispatch portal but the page looks like the real Boeing opt and the data is feed from simbrief new performance feature. It also can be used for other Boeing aircraft is supported by simbrief.

Thanks

I've fixed the broken links. The direct links to Dropbox didn't work for various browser reasons but when I pulled the images in manually I could upload them to the usual dumping ground for this Forum.

Hmmmm, I voted just now, but I see I also commented on the thread back in 2022.

It's less relevant to me now that I use Gary's excellent app to link PSX to MSFS. With that, Navigraph connects seamlessly to MSFS for a perfect moving map and flight plan viewer, and the total linkup (PSX, MSFS, and Navigraph) is really without any headache. So much so, that the Navigraph moving map feature is enough to support the purchase price of MSFS as far as I'm concerned. But I do still see the relevance of a native PSX connection, so I voted.
