Hi,
I have noticed that when you want to load the DESCEND FORCAST INFORMATIONS (page 3) in the FMC VNAV menu, the message stays at LOAD instead of changing to LOADING.
François
Hi François, thanks for the hint.
I know there is this message: ROUTE () UPLINK LOADING
and this: DES FORECST UPLINK READY
But I didn't know there should be this message: DES FORECST UPLINK LOADING
It's even longer than 24 characters.
(The descent forecast loading runs pretty fast anyway, unlike the ROUTE loading.)

Hi Hardy
When I load the forcast by clicking on L6 button the message : DES FORECST UPLINK READY disapears and the action stays at LOAD instead of LOADING.
François
Thanks. Do you have a picture (or reference to a manual) of how it should look like?
To be honest no. I was simply thinking that it works with the same display logic than the sending : SEND -> SENDING -> SENT
and when I use it I am not sure if the system has taken into account my request or if I have to relaunch it an new time
The logic isn't quite the same as the SEND and SENDING on the RTE Page, Francois.
Boeing usually has a reason for doing everything, but this does not follow that logic.
When you push LOAD it should change to SEND at L6 and the Forecast Winds Load
The PURGE prompt at R6 changes to DES when you push LOAD
This works as advertised in v10.107 and is perfect.
