Title: Yoke Recomendations
Post by: turbodiddley on Thu, 25 Apr 2019 03:45
What USB yoke or stick seems to provide a good experience, without too much tinkering?

Using for a one monitor desktop PSX sim.

Not looking for realistic feel, just something to get the job done,  and will just be using the K and L buttons for rudder.

Thank you!

Kurt

You didn't mention your budget, but even a cheap Logitech joystick will "get the job done".

If you want a yoke I would recommend one that turns 180 degrees. I think a Saitek Cessna yoke had that range and cost around same as the other plastic yokes. The elevator range is pretty short in all of these generic plastic yokes.

I have a thrustmaster T160000M. it can be used for either left-handed or right-handed. I am right-handed but I use it left-handed (Captain side). It allows me to use mouse with right hand to manage thrust and panel switches/buttons control. I also use a CH Product pro pedals for rudder.
