Title: PSX BACARS Error on Uplink
Post by: Steve - Browny on Fri, 13 Nov 2020 00:44
Hi,

We're having an issue with BACARS in that it is not uploading importing the flight data into PSX.

We have the correct email and flight number, the PSX route folder is visible from the network using the IP and DNS and the portal website is accessible from the BACARS computer. The Crew Uplink, Route etc both initially show blue and then yellow when the initial data request is pressed but then turn red.

Is there any log file showing why it has failed? We completed everything in the manual

Did you correctly enter the hoppy ACARS Code into the BACARS? Because that's needed for the download of the route and weather and everything. You could also try and make a new hoppy Logon, sometimes it expired and you don't notice.

You can always peek under the hood to see whether the ACARS network server has "seen" you.
