I don't think anyone has asked in a while, is there an approximate release date for PSX and what will you get? Will the be a PSX manual included with the software.

Hi,

Hardy wrote an excellent manual for PS1.3  :)
And the predecessor versions came with a manual as well, so be sure there weill be an even bigger manual (or manuals?) for PSX.
And the release will not be this year, as far as I remember  :(
You need to be very patient, like all others lurking for PSX.

Try to ask again next year  :o

Regards, Holger

Edit:
Release date is unpredictable

Blake,

Are you ignorant or a moron?

A quick use of the search feature would have rendered you a swift response.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the functions of this complex message board.

Joe,
although I agree to some extent with the basic content of your message, I do feel that calling a fellow member ignorant or a moron is inappropiate.

I've been on the PS forum from very early on and throughout all those years one of the attributes that sets it apart from many other internet forums, is that this forum has always been very civil, polite and respectfull. No shouting, no name calling.

I for one, really appreciate it and value it.

yes, that's very right what Jeroen says and I agree with him !

No need to be rough...

Perhaps the moderator should remove the post or message thread?

Jeroen and Mandjare,

In the instance that a new member would have asked such a question, I do in fact agree with you that my treatment was a little rough, however Blake has been a member of this forum for some time and been a party to other discussions concerning this matter.

Furthermore Blake has done nothing but take from this community of dedicated and generous individuals. When he was asked to share a set of measurements for a panel he indignantly replied that he was not going to as it was his hard work that yielded the result.

If Blake wants something he just posts it and we all diligently answer. Frankly I'm sick of seeing this forum being taken advantage of by the likes of him and I suggest a serious attitude adjustment is in order.

Imagine if people like Hardy, Hoppie, Ivan, Gary, Markus V and many many more took the same attitude about only taking from this community. We would not have the amazing hobby that all of us enjoy today.  Thanks to their amazing contribution we all enjoy a simulator experience like no other and will continue to do so for many years.

Joe.

Its not a story of give and take, but of simple politeness.

"Suggesting" is arrogant, while argueing at the same
time with fairness of giving and taking. Thats like bombing
for peace.

Any different idea on that?

Hi guys,

I don't believe anyone has asked me many questions. If you read what I am happy to share, I believe dimensions is one. I don't really have a lot to offer. I don't really have much expertise with the 744. Sorry mate for been on the receiving end, I would be happy to offer if I had the knowledge. I don't feel I even have a input with the technical side. So what do you want me to add?

I have offered photos through Farrokh and plan to keep putting them up on the forum. So I do and will keep giving.

Also, I did try a search for release date, with no joy. I thought someone might know a newer release date. I do know PSX is under development. But I do think it's a fair question. People that know about my sim, ask me all the time when will the sim be complete. I am happy to answer, my answer is hopefully early next year.
Maybe I should call them ignorant every time they ask.

Hey guys,

Normally I stay off emotional discussions. Forums and emails are a difficult space to express emotions desipte all smilys.

But this is really a nice one about "ignorance":
Ignorant oven

Hope this smoothes emotions...

Have fun, Holger
