Have you tried setting the navdata source in the EFB to Simfest navdata, otherwise it tries to talk to MSFS to get gate data and that doesn't work over a network.

Cheers

Wow Gary this is amazing. I had plans with the family over the bank holiday but had to cancel them to upgrade all your apps  ;D

I'm a bit stuck with BARCARS. I've created a plane in the Fleet page of the planning portal. Then planned a flight. In BACARS when I try and check out the aircraft it says "a model file must be configured".

I also read somewhere we can now use GSX to pushback or the EFB pushback uses GSX vehicles?

Thanks Gary,
I did select navdata to "SimFest API" and it did work  :)  but the area/airport map stays in blue screen with error "Exception: The remote server returned an error:404 Not Found, no imagery at this zoom level for this region"

I have seen this happened before and went away but I can't determine if this is something on my machine or a wrong setup.

Cheers

You wouldn't happen to be using , as a decimal seperator?

PanosI

Thank you Gary. It's great convenience to have all programs gathered in one place/page.

I'm not so sure if I mistakenly had, just to be exact where are we looking at, which config, which line ?

It's in your Windows settings. Several PSX addons have problems if you have the decimal separator set to anything other than "." ("dot").

See e.g https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4872229/changing-decimal-separator-from-comma-to-dot

In BARCARS on the planning portal connection it keeps flickering between yellwo text "The PSX aicraft is not available in the selected workspace" and green text "Connect tech log synchronised".

Gary Oliver

Do you have an aircraft setup in your personal or team workspace with the same registration as the one in your psx situation.

GodAtum

In my personal workspace I have G-CIVZ and am using the same ICAO code in the PSX airframe tab.

It says model missing but I'm not sure what that means.

PSX747atlas

in BAcars click the Settings button, and where it asks Portal Aircrafts Files, you put the location of your PSX models i.e E:\psx747\Aerowinx\Models

Thanks, that's already set that along with the PSX Situations folder.

Another very productive weekend has published new versions of nearly every App.

This update focuses on Turnaround Operations and makes the turnaround feel much more alive, lots of vehicles buzzing around doing things.  All set based on the aircrafts location.

I have also made lots of changes to the charts pages on the EFB, with proper LIDO integration and position overlays (unless you are being GPS jammed of course).  Charts are automatically ordered based on your flight plan or selected RWY/SID/STAR in the FMC.

Theres also lots and lots of stability updates, including finally fixing any fueling bugs.

Full change log on the website in downloads.

I also started some draft documentation.

Vehicles in MSFS require GSX models in the community folder, but no GSX is used.

I have now added Manually Triggered Automatically updating of the MSFS Client and WASM package.

I have also now provided a single package with settings in the MSFS to client to choose light brightness and whether to override the 748 in MSFS.

You no longer need to download the WASM Aircraft manually, if there is not one found in your MSFS community folder the client will prompt you to download it and install automatically.

Amazing work again Gary! I'm still having trouble with BACARS. I have in my personal fleet G-CIVZ. In my PSX situation model it's G-CIVZ. In my Simbrief flight plan it's G-CIVZ. In BACARS both models and situations are pointed to the correct folder. I plane is located at EGLL in the Portal and in PSX. Any advice is greatly appreciated  :)

This is related. Next to your tail number, you need to have a flight ID, callsign, or whatever ATC needs to talk to you.  This is one of the differences between Hoppie's ACARS and the real-world ACARS. For practical online flying, you need your callsign. ATC does not know your tail number in most hobby cases.

Thanks, so I've added the Hoppie logon to BACARS, then initialised the flight using the centre FMC and and added the ATC callsign in Simbrief and the FMC route page.

But I'm still getting "A model file must be configured before this aircraft can be synchronised" when trying to check out the aircraft.
