PSX feeding real (pro) EFBs

For work I take care of a load of EFBs and other iPad-related things that lurk off airplane buses (429 and 717). To get these to work (they are all using the same interface standard, so they are all different) I tend to use PSX to feed them plausible data when nobody's looking. If there are people who have these pro iPad apps and would like to stick them onto PSX, let me know in this thread.

I read the last update was in 2015 with ARINC 828-4.

It's mostly ARINC 834 today. Just enough standard to claim you're compliant, but it never works until you stick Wireshark on the wires and figure it out.

PSX blips are moving around on various EFBs atm ... stay tuned.

Works ... the challenge will be to make it work with whatever your company has set up. You cannot change that; so my driver needs to simulate ... your airplane  :-D

This one flies. There's not much data mPilot accepts, so basic ownship is mostly it ... but it works fine.

Caveat: your operator (airline) will have configured your mPilot for your real airplane, and I would need to know exactly what that configuration entails to simulate your real airplane. The little airplane symbol top-right shows you the name of your Location Provider, but that is probably not enough to fake it.

Nice, but cabled as well? We only support Teledyne bridge cabled.

"Cabled" usually just means sticking an Ethernet converter into the iPad Lightning or USB-C connector. It immediately becomes a wired Ethernet, iPad has all the drivers off-factory. The trick is that I don't yet know how to simulate a Teledyne unit. Yet.   :-)

If I could drop by to wiretap that Ethernet ...
