I checked also the 1,2,3 versions and also loose connection when the plane it's still after 2-3 minutes.

I noticed with the exe version, if the plane is not  moving after some minutes the connection "disappear".

Also I have some problems with the GUI version. I post in that thread.

I'll look into it! About Simlink: what happens? Is that during flight?

Check this version: there is a keep alive to Simlink when no data is comming from PSX (e.g. parked or pause).

After the 2-3 minutes when you click "plane" in charts (Enable Moving Maps) it appeared the message below "Could not connect the simulator, Simlink need to be running. Read more about simlink here"  as if the simlink is not open which is not true.

Wow. Thank you Panosl, Jamie and Hardy for your response and solution.
Am I correct is assuming this is how it works? This works for me.
1) Download, extract and save https://www.jamiejets.com/psx/psx_simlink_v0.9a.zip
2) Start PSX and position for your flight
3) Start PSX SimLink. (I'm assuming too that you need to have Navigraph SimLink running too?)
4) Open Navigraph Chards and you are good to go.
Thank you again to all. What an amazing community!

Jamie,

Where did you get the LIDO chart set? Is it available publicly/as a subscription?

Thank you,

Mariano

I will look into this. I'm not familiar with how these things work on a Mac, but we'll see :-)

All correct! Simlink is definately needed. I don't have the Extra-Navigraph subscription, I'm still on the old-AIRAC-only program and I tend to keep it that way. So I cannot really test, if you see anything wierd or strange let me know. The thing I'm not quite sure about it the way it wants altitudes (agl/msl/???) and the Xplane plugin sends QNH as well. Bit wierd for a moving map, but who knows. I send a fixed '29.92' for now.

No sorry I fly for a living as well (777). Got the charts from my company.
I started with flightsimming, went into IT, became a pilot, hence the profile image: it's Meigs Airfield Chicago ;-)

Mariano

I have never used SimLink. Are there any specific settings required in SimLink in order to run all of the above?

Thank you for this great add-on.

Best regards,

Mariano

I need a macos X-Plane plugin for this. If someone has it installed on their Mac, simlink puts it in their plugins directory. I can check this plugin file for hints. Same I did with the windows version.
