I lost access to my account again (and the one I created last time that happened).

I'm not receiving any e-mails from the password recovery page, making resetting my other account impossible.

Hardy Heinlin

The password recovery page is operative. Maybe your local antispam system has put a filter on it?

It doesn't have any filters/blocks/limits. It's apparently not being sent.

Hardy Heinlin

It does send it to other guests and users. I don't know why it doesn't send it to you. Do you use special protection features on your computer or in your browser?

Mail senders (this web site, in this case) typically keep a log of the process. My own web site also sends e-mail and I've seen dozens of reasons why the receiving server rejects a mail, usually because it does not know the sending server and therefore assumes it's going to be spam. The mail in such a case never even reaches the receiving server.

If you can track down the logs this may be a clue.

I had to do a lot of work especially with Deutsche Telekom (web.de, and such). They simply reasoned: you're not MS, not Google, we don't want to have your mail, end. I had to fill in lots of forms and set up a complete privacy statement on my home page to get them to accept registration e-mails.

When a forum mail cannot reach the recipient my server usually sends me a mail explaining the error, provided the server knows that it cannot be reached, e.g. because it was rejected.

Some years ago we had a problem with google mail rejecting forum mails. But that was solved long ago.

I would try to register again on a well-defined time and then let Hardy know what time so he may be able to see where that mail went and how.
