Leo Bodnar BU0836A interaction with PSX native USB interface.

Good Morning All,
Has anyone had and can give any advice on the use of this interface card? It all works as it should when monitoring with windows joy.cpl. The last 2 of 8 available analogue axis channels are named similarly in the card PIC programming. With 7 being called slider;slider and 8 being called slider;dial. This results in the correct operation and labelling of these axes with joy.cpl, but in PSX USB configuration they are seen and named "slider" for 7 and "slider" for 8. Both axes are located and appear but whatever input you give 7 appears on axis 7 unreliably, and an input on axis 8 also appears unreliably on axis 7. Axis 8 appears to not function or sometimes does unreliably as well. This leads me to believe maybe the PSX USB interface is not differentiating properly which axis is which (because of same axis name?) and appears as cross-talk between the two channels. I will get onto Leo Bodnar support and try for a solution from that end, but hoping someone else may have found this and solved it?
Cheers, J.G.
