TM TCA boeing yoke not appear in the USB section in settings.

Tried connecting the TM boening yoke, Honeycomb throttle and the TM rudder pedals, but none of them wants to appear in the USB page. It says "No usable USB device found. please quit the simulator before connecting a USB device". Does anyone know how to fix this? and is it possible to get the winwing 747 FMC working in the sim?

Hi Christian, in the absence of anyone else coming forward with some better advice I will offer this. I run all the accessories you list(except the winwing) and I can assure you they should be compatible on a windows system. In fact I run an extra set of peddles and yoke for a first officer on a networked PC. The problem you have is likely going to be your PC not seeing the USB devices rather than PSX. You need to start there. Try using device manager to find issues or a little program you can download called USB TreeView to check recognition and order of USB devices attached to your PC. Your Winwing CDU may have people who can advise you on a bridging program. I use the Cockpit Simulator CDU for which the manufacturer has provided bridge software to PSX with the aid of Hardy and it just works when you plug it in.

As JG said, Check that windows is seeing your devices, I have no issues with the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo with Logitech rudder pedal.

In case your USB devices are already detected by Microsoft Windows, you may try this for PSX:

Load the file Aerowinx/Preferences/Default.pref with a text editor and search for this line:

UsbUnknownIncl=0

Replace the 0 with 1:

UsbUnknownIncl=1

Save the file. Restart PSX.


Maybe your device has no name or no USB standard axis. If that's the case, PSX considers it an "unknown" device and thus inhibits it in order not to clutter the system with USB devices that are irrelevant to flight controls (e.g. speakers, toasters etc.). The inhibit can be deactivated by the above method ("unknown included").
