Does Aerowinx work with MSFS?

Val

Hi there.

I'm the new guy here,
Got me the JETMAX from Flightdecksolutions 737 NG some time ago.
I"m about to purchase the Aerowinx softwere, my question, would that work with FS2020 or 2024?.
Thank you.

Val.

Aerowinx software has by itself nothing to do with any other simulator. It is not an add-on plane for MSFS or X-plane.

There are several ways to reduce MSFS or X-Plane to a camera flying over a planet, and control the camera so that it looks like it is fixed onto the windshield of a flying PSX simulator. In this way you can sort of experience best of both worlds: the proper simulation of a 747-400 in all details, plus the proper simulation of a planet view.

If you look around a bit on this Forum, you will find several solutions for this.

Here are some random YT videos showing what can be done (there are many, many more):

Thank you very much for the information.
Very useful, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Cheers.

PSX is a standalone simulator. The world visuals that are native to PSX are rudimentary, so the community has built software bridges to a number of popular flight simulators that have more advanced world visuals.

PSX will "work" with any of these other sims that people have built bridges to. That includes both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

The way it would work is that you but a copy of both sims (PSX plus whatever sim you want to use for world visuals, your choice really) and then you use one of the community-built bridges to network them together. PSX ends up providing your cockpit visuals, aircraft systems, sounds, and flight physics, while the other sim (your choice!) provides the visuals of the world.

The bridges are all provided free, through generous support of the user community. I've used Gary's bridges for both MSFS 2020 and 2024, and they are excellent. All the support you need in getting them set up can be obtained here on this forum, where Gary and plenty of other users are happy to help.

I use PSX + MSFS 2024 just about every day and it's a perfect combo. MSFS 2024 depicts the world beautifully, while PSX absolutely can't be beat when it comes to flight model and systems depth.

Val, if you describe exactly what you're looking for, we might be able to help!
