Using P3D software and verison 5

PSX is a standalone simulator; there is, as far as I know, no way to link PSX weather settings to P3D.

You cannot change the weather depicted in P3D via PSX, or vice-versa.

Even we will install a new software called activesky weather, will be a link with P3dv5 beacuse I see there is option in P3D to do active with activesky weather software

And also what about if I do in psx weather pag a live weather Metar, so will be in link with P3Dv5 ?

I need soultions plz

Activesky is a piece of software for P3D which will inject a visual depiction of live (or customised) weather conditions in to P3D.

It will not change the weather in PSX. The only weather that will affect PSX is that which is set in the PSX weather settings.

If you run P3D with Activesky in live weather mode and use live weather in PSX what you see out of the window in P3D will mostly reflect the PSX weather but again, the two are separate and the only one that is relevant to the operation of the sim is what you set in PSX. Anything you do in P3D is purely visual.

Thank you alot my friend skelsey

So, there is no any setting or software which is linke btween psx and P3D

And what about the MSFS2024 any link bwtween PSX and MSFS2024?

Beause I want to move to MSFS2024 if not any link so I will think about it

skelsey

No, to my knowledge there is no utility that is capable of synchronising weather between PSX and an external scenery generator such as P3D or MSFS.

You can run Activesky on a networked PC (ie a different PC to your P3D instance).

However, as I say, Activesky has nothing to do with PSX. It will not change or affect the PSX weather in any way. It will only change the visual depiction of weather in P3D.

Yeah, I understand you, I just want to change the weather from P3D not in PSX
Beacuse the customer seeing the P3D when they flying,,

So from the application activesky weather I can contrllo the weaher or customied to make raining or somw or wind so this will affect in P3D

If this way work, do you know how to setup the activesky software?

You really should be looking at the product page for Active Sky P3D: https://hifisimtech.com/asp3d/

As Simon has indicated, Active Sky has nothing to do with Aerowinx PSX (what this forum is about).

I use P3d for my external view with AcitiveSky providing the weather for the external view.  Usually the ActiveSky and PSX weather are very close.  If not I will manually adjust the PSX weather to match the visual ActiveSky weather.  Not a perfect solution but close enough for flight sim work.   :)

Active Sky has a network setup. You can use it from a separate PC.
Check out the manual before buying so you understand what config is needed and any limitations.

Our Commercial Instructor Console (SimStack Control) does push PSX weather to Active Sky.  You can choose live weather, pre-set conditions or custom weather.

You can click on the little envelope below our logo to contact us if you are interested.

Cheers,

Rod.
