I'm not able to view any documents in Library tab, it stopped viewing docs suddenly, I did not change anything in config. Not sure if windows updates changed something in the background, any ideas?

Howdy,

Windows 11 latest (January) Security et al update done.

BACARS et al starts as usual, flightdeck all linked with MSFS net etc - print out, ACARS etc all works as it should. One exception: the "connect tug" button stays green and the pushback function is INOP for me on the EFB. 99% it is my system (no additional hardware of software loaded; this occured right after the restart after the updates done), so before I roll back wondered if anyone else had any issues with the pushback within the EFB after the January updates. Hi Gary,

The EFB package doesn't launch at all. I only got it to launch once, now it simply refuses. It is installed on the same PC as PSX and Bacars. Where to start trouble shooting?

I re-installed Adobe reader no help, it doesn't load any docs, do you think its a corrupt file in PSX.NET.EFB. I'm not so sure which folder to replace in EFB.

Not sure if anyone had this issue with loading the Documents in the EFB. I re-installed Adobe acrobat reader few times and set as default but still I'm unable to load/open and docs' in the EFB. I reinstalled the EFB file again no help. Not sure if its a corrupt file or a setting/config I need to do. Any ideas Please.

Does it still list them but they dont show in the right hand side?

Sam, you also reported that your FMC cannot load your route files. Now, since various file problems are occuring in your system, maybe there's a general fault in your workflow? Are you using zip files? Is your harddisk intact?

Yes, all the pdf's are listed on the left side of the page but when I click on any docs the window stays blank.

When I Uninstalled Adobe the docs opened in a seperate window outside EFB app, but when I reinstall Adobe they will not load in the app.

All my files are unzipped but I will double check, the EFB is running on a separate pc tablet using a network. What's strange to me is that I didn't do any reconfigs to any application, the only update i did was navdata, but I have no issues with navdata on my laptop just on my main simulator pc

I reinstalled Windows OS, problem fixed, Didn't know which folder got corrupted and why...

Found the reason for why EFB was not starting:

1. Downloaded "old" EFB from 1st page in this thread - EFB starts fine
2. Downloaded update to latest version from 1st page and overwrote the exe and dll of the "old" - EFB not working
3. Read through threads and found out that GMap... dlls are neded - those are not in the "old" EFB on the 1st page
4. Found 2.0.0.1 complete EFB on other pages, which contains also GMap (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/fq0udnml4nc5xzbmieuut/PSX.NET.EFB_V2.0.0.1.zip?rlkey=0jrjesvec6k4see5552a5vu3x&dl=1) - EFB 2.0.0.1 works
5. Updated 2.0.0.1. with 2.0.0.2 - all works fine.

Lesson learnt - do NOT download "old" EFB from first page and update it with 2.0.0.2. It will nor work.

Use link from step 4 and then update with 2.0.0.2. all works fine now.

The new pushpack feature is amazing - just draw the requested pushback and voila the EFB auto pushes to the exact position.
