If the centering force needs to be adjusted for heavy yokes, you can set the elevator bias, as you know, on Instructor > Preferences > Basics. The linear bias is for average joysticks. Peter has set the bias to a more positive value so that small elevator inputs have a greater effect. That makes sense.

Unfortunately in the 744 Experience sim this slider has no effect (as far as I understand) since I believe the SimStack flight control boards write directly to PSX through the network rather than via USB; although if it does work or there were a way to fine tune those inputs through PSX that would be excellent!

I see. Maybe the Simstack guys can insert an exponential function that the user can adjust? Perhaps it could also be implemented in the tiller, rudder, and aileron axes?

If it's too difficult for them, I'll consider moving this function from the USB area to the core area, so that all input media are affected: mouse, keyboard, USB, network.

I have tried to implement the elevator bias curve in the respective Q-read section of PSX (instead of the USB section only), where the elevator deflection value of all inputs (keyboard, mouse, USB, TCP network) is read in one common variable. It doesn't work well, regrettably. I have to discard the idea. So the bias curve needs to be implemented on the hardware interface side, unfortunately. (If it is desired at all.)
