Hello,
I've tried to use MSFS 2024 for visuals, but when in the plane I'm stuck with this:
https://ibb.co/vxYfSjsz

Why I cannot see the cabin, like in the picture of Snare25 ?
How I can get rid off the indications circled in red ?
I must say that so far I have not a good impression of the program.

Thanks.

Thanks for the update, Gary! As always, I appreciate you providing this awesome software free of charge to the PSX community! :D

There is no cabin in the WASM plane. It is just a 'camera view' being pushed along in the MSFS2024 world. So there's no buttons, seat, windows, glareshield or whatever. The only purpose is showing you the external view from a pilot's perspective.

If you're referring to Snare's picture, I think he's using the default 748 interior...?

The indications can be switched off, I'm not at my computer but AFAIK I didn't have to switch them off when I moved to MSFS2024 and installed the WASM plane. Might be able to look into it later for you.

Ehrm, how can we fix that? Because we need to :)
Coffee donation..? Beer donation? What's your poison?

In any case, I'm firing up the sim and update my 2024 WASM stuff. Thanks for the ongoing updates Gary!!

Oh dear Garry,
The entire PSX community appreciates all you do for us gratis....please don't be discouraged by a frustrated comment. Not polite I admit, but be assured the rest of us really enjoy the enhancements you provide. I'm still coming to buy you a pint someday.
J.G.
Ps Sorry for the double R.......

My bad Gary !! I was referring to MSFS 2024 and obviously not your work !!!
I have only the utmost respect and admiration for what you have provided the PSX community.
I could and should have specified better what I meant.

Sorry again.

I think Snare might be using the "PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM V20.1.0 Replaces Asobo Default 748 version for Virtual cockpit users" (download link in the first post in this thread) where Gary put parts of a 748 3D cockpit into the WASM plane.

I haven't tested that 3D cockpit variant in a long time, but earlier (see https://aerowinx.com/board/index.php/topic,7707.msg82627.html#msg82627) you needed to choose the Asobo 748 in order to see the 3D cockpit ("Will override the default Asobo 747-8i with the WASM module.  The passenger version has the full VC cockpit enabled, and the Freighter has everything but the MCP disabled for increased performance.")

So I would suggest Swiso to:
- Verify that the correct WASM download is used (the one labelled "PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM V20.1.0 Replaces Asobo Default 748 version for Virtual cockpit users" in the first post of this thread)
- Choose the Asobo 748 when launching the flight
- Get rid of the MSFS HUD as voipmeister suggested

Please note that what you will get is more or less dead 748 cockpit on top of which you need to place PSX instruments yourself. PSX.NET.MSFS2024.WASM was written for use in a large sim with a full physical cockpit, so no 3D cockpit was needed.

Gary was then kind enough to do a simple mod where parts of the Asobo 748 cockpit is visible, so PSXers without a full cockpit can at least get window frames, glass and some other cockpit parts on top if which they can place selected parts of the PSX 2D cockpit.

Haha it's okay I thought that might be the case, hence the smile :)

Productivity in the Simfest technology centre has been rather high this morning.

Ah, I get it now.
Thanks for the explanation.
So basically what I see is correct.
Just need to find how to remove the MSFS HUD.

Thanks.

Fixed.
Thank you !

I finally bought the MSFS2024. Everything from the beginning, everything unfamiliar.

I made the first connection with PSX but the time of the day doesn't match with the time of PSX.

Also also there is only one connection although the router and the client are open.

What am I missing?

EDIT : Ok I found it ....<AlwaysSyncTime> can be set to true

Panosl,

Where did you find <AlwaysAyncTime>, in which config file? I have the sane issue.

In the folder C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\PSX.NET, the PSX.NET.MSFS.Router.xml config file.

Change to :  <AlwaysSyncTime>true</AlwaysSyncTime>

Is there another way to sync time without the above problem?

Gary Oliver

I have made some updates on a future version where we can sync the time by pressing the captains clock button at any time.  Thats my only workaround for now.
