What is that extra lever attached to the #2 throttle lever?

I guess it helps to control #2 separately.

Just as with the classic 747s, that extra engine is routinely operated by a flight engineer sitting in the backseat. The handle is there to allow them to easily reach it.

In the classic, the flight engineer was the one fine-tuning the individual engines to run at the same thrust etc.
