Greetings Hardy

My home built yoke has suddenly  become difficult to calibrate.

It seems to be confusing the elevator and aileron settings.
I can calibrate the elevator correctly, but as soon as I tackle the aileron it
affects the elevator readings!!!
This no doubt is as a result of my incompetence or possible a fault
in the yoke which is built on an acquired  real 757 yoke.

Is possible to start from scratch by delete the file that holds the
calibration figures and start from scratch?

Thanking you in anticipation,

Derek

Hello Derek,

don't delete.

On Instructor > Preferences > USB:
On that page, if your aileron axis is clearly assigned to "Aileron" and not to "Elevator", it is set correctly. There's no reason to delete that.

I guess it's a fault in the hardware mechanism or in the isolation of the electrical wires? Signals from the aileron pot might be crosstalking to the elevator wire?

Best wishes,

Wire loose, reconnected, ought have known it wasn't, and couldn't be a fault with the program.  DUH
