RealTraffic injects real-world METARS, winds aloft, and traffic into PSX. This is how to get traffic onto the TCAS in PSX.

RealTraffic also injects real-world traffic into PSXTraffic, which then injects it into MSFS.

Thanks Will,

I most likely will be using RT for traffic injector. Can you inject AIG aircrafts via RT? And can you run two different injectors or that might cause an issue?

Most injectors say to use only one injector at a time.

RT doesn't know anything about MSFS or models (AIG or otherwise); it only broadcasts traffic data to PSXTraffic, which then matches the traffic it receives to aircraft models in the community folder before injecting it into MSFS. The PSXTraffic manual has a pretty thorough description of how it goes about model matching. If you have AIG models in your community folder, PSXTraffic will find them and use them.

Quote from: Britjet on Thu, 20 Jun 2024 08:54Traffic injection will also be coming at some stage with BeyondATC and  SayIntentions ATC Apps, which will not only control other traffic but handle your ATC needs. Neither has the injection at this stage, but I've used both in PSX. .

Britjet,

BeyondATC does injecting into MSFS and does a good job, but my understanding its MSFS only. How did you use it on PSX? Is there a way I can link traffic from BeyondATC into PSX TCAS?

Sam

Will,

Before I start the installation of PSXTraffic & RT, I was reading some of the PDF's to familiar with the whole process.

I'm running two PC's, PC1 running PSX and PC2 running MSFS2024 connected via networking switch. My confusion is where to install traffic softwares PC1 or PC2?

Thanks

Will

Sorry, I know next to nothing about networking. I run everything on one computer.

That said, it seems to me like it's pretty easy to point RealTraffic to PSX's network address via the Settings tab on the RealTraffic GUI, so I'd think you might want both RealTraffic and PSXTraffic on your MSFS computer (PC2) where they will all easily find each other; then show RealTraffic how to find PSX on your network through the RealTraffic GUI.

The makers of RealTraffic and PSXTraffic are both very responsive on their forums, and may be able to help.

Same here Will, my networking skills are at bare minimum :(

I really really hope some of our networking pros in the forum can step in with some details.

I'm also still struggling in linking MSFS with PSX, the networking is just getting me.

Again I really hope to get some help PLEASE

Thanks
