Hans,

I have achieved success. The dropouts are no longer happening. I increased the Web Timer in increments of 60 and it gradually improved. Now with the following, I don't have any issues anymore:

PSX_Timer          = 70
Web_Timer          = 360

But I have to say, I'm not really sure what this means. Is it a problem to have 360 in there? Is there an upper limit? Is the absolute value important, or is it more about the ratio between PSX_Timer and Web_Timer?

In other words, these settings work for me, but I don't know if they are optimal or not.

Thanks for your help. Enjoy your day with your family!

Hi Will,

excellent! As a user, I would say: what works for me is optimal  ;)

Technically spoken, there are lot of differences btw. Win 10 and 11 regarding the TCP stack and thread scheduling behavior
- shorter time slices where threads are preempted
- higher latency for small packets (new security features, virtualization based security)
- aggressive power-saving (CPU core parking and timer handling)

The timer you set, is the interval value in milliseconds, to run the subroutines for polling HTML and PSX.

I will upload the final 1.2a version tomorrow. Just a cosmetic thing. 1.2a sounds better than 1.2 test  ;)

Hardy and community,

depending on how "important" you classify this little tool:

pls feel free to add it to the Add-ons page, if you find it worth and useful to be listed.

Tested with Streamdeck + and it works.

I tested also the dial buttons. They support "Website" action. Using http://127.0.0.1:1337/Qh78=-1 and http://127.0.0.1:1337/Qh78=1 it is possible to adjust heading knob on MCP. You can eve assign HDG Push to push action of the Streamdeck +

So far, so good. Is it possible to get readings from PSX sent back to Streamdeck, so it could show current MCP value of heading, altitude, etc.?

Aleks, Unreal.....that's the news I have been waiting for. It is enough that the functionality goes as far is does for a desktop sim where that info is available already on a monitor after making the change. Be lovely if was the complete deal but I can think of many reasons that might be too challenging. J.G.

Thanks, Hardy!

Aleks,
It's great that it also works with the rotary controls. As the name suggests, it's a one-way solution. There's no native Elgato interface for sending data back to StreamDeck. Without developing a corresponding plug-in, there's currently no direct way.
