I'm getting a FIRE MN DK AFT in the combi, according to my sources the combi only has FIRE MN DECK.

This was during the volcanic ash reproduction

Airline option?

The Boeing FIM (Fault Isolation Manual) includes these Warning messages for the Combi, including:

FIRE MAIN DECK
FIRE MN DK MID
FIRE MN DK AFT

I don't know if it is related, but the combi was designed to be reconfigurable. Usually, the combi cargo area includes the aft area of Zone D and all of Zone E. I don't think the "all of Zone D" configuration was ever approved. Considering how small Zone D usually is, I don't think they would have created a FIRE MN DK FWD message simply for the front half of D zone. The front half of Zone D is main deck (fire) "Zones 1 & 2". The aft half of Zone D and all of E Zone includes main deck "Zones 3 ~ 6"

The FIM also mentions FIRE MN DK FWD, FIRE MAIN DECK 1 and FIRE MAIN DECK 2 warnings, but I don't know what aircraft this applies to. Freighter?

It's weird, because FIM's tell me the same as your sources. But the FCOM's tell me the combi only has FIRE MAIN DECK.....

Both the FIM and FCOM are from KLM

I have some KLM engineer training notes which have this weird statement:

[The smoke detectors relay a signal to the flight deck] "This signal illuminates a light on the P5 pilot's overhead panel... [and] creates an EICAS messages, and activates MAWEA"

The manual seems confused about whether the message/s are plural or singular. The message/s are not listed.
