Hi Cagarini,
Thank you for your brilliantly simple but elegant way of setting up zoom and angle.
I've done just that, consigned the resulting MSFS view to a joystick button and can now look around in flight or on the ground, knowing that a simple button click while approaching the airport, or taxiing, will set up the correct MSFS cockpit view.
Thank you again.
Chris.

Thanks for the kind words Chris !
It was also inspired on the excellent videos explaining your setup!

PSX + MFS through this PSX . NET . MFS . WASM really shines !!!

Even Cagarini, my co-pilot, has become fond of it more than of the Toliss A319 in XP12 :-)
He's particularly "in-love" with the PSX MCP and the visuals of the numbers being dialed, and strives to help with it :-)

when I send Qs122=1;0;0;3282;560;... instantly the plane and Qs121 jumps to =0;0;3.2820000648498535;567166;... and slowly comes back to ...;560672;...

Without router / client running, this huge jumps does not happen. Only minor ones, to 560564. What/why is that?

Hi Gary,

happens when repositioning the aircraft ... any way to avoid?

Cheers
Hans

All,

Have set the autoupdate to push V10.0.2 which fixes the following :-

-The gear animations now take into account FPS and should be a bit smoother
-The Spoiler behavior should be improved
-The gear now goes down fully which means when on the ground it should not have tilted bogies.
-8.33khz Frequencies from PSX are now sent to MSFS pending VATSIMS 8.33 trial this month.
-Fixed erroneous WASM Module failed to update message

There is still some work to do to make sure the aircraft clamps to the ground in MSFS in all situations, however now it should be much better - especially when using gatefinder to repoisition or moving the aerodynamics slider up and then down for the altitude in the server.

I also found   <MinWeightModelOffsetM>4.3</MinWeightModelOffsetM> worked as a good value in the router config.

Also added a couple of things to the first post for things to configure in MSFS.

Cheers
G

Still not working 100% for me. I get to see the bogies untilted for a few seconds though. :)

- Using GateFinder to move the aircraft (Atlas 744F livery)
- As the aircraft settles onto the ground, the bogies look OK (untilted)
- The aircraft continues to bounce slightly for a few seconds
- The bouncing stops with an upward jerk and the model ends up with the bogies tilted

Same behaviour on the three locations I tested: ESSA stand R10, UKBB stand S1 (both OrbX scenery) and ESSL stand 1 (MSFS default).

End result on ESSL stand 1:

No, the default config (with 4.7). With 4.3 it still bounces a bit, but settles down with the bogies untilted.

Strange, I'm sure I tested with both 4.7 and 4.3 earlier. Gear gremlins? :)

Tried several airports... good results!

All wheels seem stuck firmly on the ground, with Client V10.0.2 and Router config using ModelOffset 4.3.

Thanks for your efforts!

Gary,

just updated and tried new ver. - all looks great!
Most of the huge jumps are gone - seems that they depend on add-on scenery - but looks better now as well 8)

Thx for all your efforts and sharing with us!!!

Hi Guys,
I copied the PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM_V10 into my community folder where all other aircrafts are. but I can not find the PSX aircraft in MSFS. What can be wrong ?

Hi Steff,

check / confirm two important facts:
- extract the WASM....zip - must be a folder inside Community
- first install WASM, then start MSFS - then you should see all the liveries

Hans

This is what I did copy...
Strange is, that I wanted to update.
Never change a running system...

Hey,

I don't know if this has been touched on before, but since I do not use vatsim is there any possible way to inject MSFS traffic into PSX for TCAS using PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM.

cheers

I don't know of a way to take native MSFS traffic and put it into the PSX TCAS, but you can get real world traffic to appear both in MSFS and on your PSX TCAS with a combination of RealTraffic and PSXTraffic.

RealTraffic: https://rtweb.flyrealtraffic.com/
PSXTraffic: https://www.lekseecon.nl/

RealTraffic fetches traffic and feeds it to both PSX (and its TCAS) and to PSXTraffic, which then feeds it to MSFS (for visuals).

Yeah, I've checked that out. Since, I fly on a private FSD multiplayer environment using the swift pilot client. I'm just trying to figure out ways to display the traffic on the ND.

The traffic works with the likes of widepsx, but honestly I just want the silky smoothness of PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM. If the latest version of vpilot allowed the ability to connect to a proxy like the older fsx / p3d version of vpilot did it'd work with gary's vpilot plugin, but it seems that the developer of vpilot refuses to add that functionality back lol.

Thanks

Ross

PanosI

Thanks to Jamie, i made my first ever connection of the PSX with MSFS 2020.

Everything worked perfect with the first attempt.

Now i have to find my personal references.

Some pics for your viewing pleasure  ;)

I'm still using model offset 4.3, but I'm noticing that the aircraft is hovering on the ground again.

Anyone else seeing this?

Any chance that the recent update to MSFS changed something that would affect this?
