I flew the PANC RWY15 approach today and was basically downwind.

METAR: PANC 202053Z 16011G22KT 8SM -RA BKN033 OVC045 06/03 A2962 RMK AO2 PK WND 15027/2009 RAB1959 SLP032 P0003 60003 T00560028 53007

You mean you had tailwind even though PANC reported headwind? This is because PAED is the focussed METAR zone at the beginning and the wind at PAED is 330/4, then the focus transits to PALH which has variable wind at 3 kt. In the short final the focus transits to PANC. You can see this on the Weather tab titles on the Instructor.

You can deactivate PAED and PALH like this:
• Deselect the checkbox "Set zones by flight track ..."
• Enter four dashes "----" in the top left edit field on the PAED page, so that the word "PAED" is replaced by "----".
• Enter four dashes "----" in the top left edit field on the PALH page, so that the word "PALH" is replaced by "----".
• Resave the situation.
