WX RADAR and Interference

Hi,

I seem to recall many years ago the weather RADAR being able to display certain artifacts as the result of reception of external RADAR emissions?

Were these artifacts totally random, or based upon flying over certain geographic areas? I flew over some areas where I thought I might see them, but nothing happened (or I was simply not looking when they occurred).

I just wondered if they are still in the sim, or whether I imagined the whole thing!

It's still in the sim. The ND screenshot will tell you the place. As far as I recall, it happens there at random, i.e. when the military is at work ...

Ahh! That's it!   Is that the only area it occurs then?
