EICAS: Flight controls on ENG page

Good evening,

does anybody know a link or has anybody got a photo of the flight controls on the EICAS ENG page? In most cases they are on the STAT page. KLM, for instance, have it on the ENG page. The controls must be smaller then. I wonder how they designed the smaller display.

Thank you, Sir.

That helps.

Also, nice to hear the NWA height tones.

I seem to recall seeing the same picture in a PS1 manual on page 103, but the PS1 manual had greater technical detail :P

KLM FCOM: surface position indication looks similar to EL AL (valid 2006)

Thanks guys, the question is already answered by that NWA video on YouTube. I just wanted to know how they squeezed the surface indication into the ENG page on which there's less free room than on the STAT page.

Hi,

I don't know if you still need it or how accurate it is but here is something I found.

Thanks Avi,

looks like this drawing doesn't argree with the video. I think I'll use the video then.

Many an exam has been failed because students didn't read the question

We'll have electrical power back on the a/c in a few days. I'll take a photo for you Hardy.

Hardy,

Small, but you can get an idea of the 'corners' of the Flight Controls section of the display (by referencing neighboring Engine parameter indicators.) Hope it helps.

Excellent, Hardy!

1. Why are the oil pressure indicators different?
2. When the engines are off, does the VIB source default to something, or stay as the last sensed component?

Quote from: Will Cronenwett1. Why are the oil pressure indicators different?

Different engine types display different parameters when the EECs* are unpowered. One may be a GE CF6, the other, a PW4000.

*Engine Electronic Control computers

Quote2. When the engines are off, does the VIB source default to something, or stay as the last sensed component?

Earlier series of Vibration Monitoring Units (analysers) may show BB (broadband) when the source of vibration is unknown. Later series show LPT (low pressure turbine) under similar circumstances when the engine rpms are below a certain value.

P.S. This doesn't explain what happened to the lower rudder indication in Delcom's photo ;)
