Changing DEP on Route Page 1

Is there a way to change the Departure loocation on the Route Page 1?

I am creating different situations while airborne, and want to change locations of the aircraft and change the entire route as well.

If not able to do this from within the FMS, is there a way to edit this information directly in the preference files?

You want to change the entire route while airborne?

Well, first, you can "export" the entire route which is currently shown on the left CDU to an external archive (subfolder Aerowinx/Routes/). You can do this whenever you want, even on the ground during preflight.

Go to Instructor > Situation > Human > Dispatcher: In the middle of that page you see a list of company routes.

To add a company route, just click the "Archive" button in the lower left corner.

Now whenever you want, even in flight, you can load your company route on the FMC RTE page 1 using the "CO ROUTE" line at 3R. If the company route contains an ORIGIN, you'll get that as well.
