Yesterday my new computer arrived and this one I want to connect to my laptop are PSX as a server resides.
I now wonder if I have to make a ( for me ) complicated setup via Windows or is it possible to do it on a simple manner:

Connecting two computers by an Ethernet cable, add the IP dresses to PSX server network tab and client network tab and than there is a connection???!!!

If you plan to connect both machines to the internet, via whatever home router you have, the problem solves itself.

If they are both on the same router, you only have to figure out what IP address the server uses and fill this in on your client PSX. Assuming Win10, on your server machine:

- Open Network & Internet Settings
- Change adapter options
- Open the appropriate network adapter
- Details
- IPv4 Address

When this all works, you can think about connecting them by Ethernet, if you are currently on WiFi. But first see how well WiFi works.
