PSX as far as I know does not use fonts in the main graphical flight deck, but only on the Instructor display.

It could be possible to never run the Instructor on your big monitor, only on a side screen that has less resolution. But PSX does not know that you want to do this. Hence if you reduce Windows font scaling to 100% (I believe you cannot get less than 100%) you will probably end up with a great display of the flight deck but too small fonts for the IP on your main monitor.

This is exactly the problem. I do not have an additional screen and there is no room on the desk for it, so it looks like we are stuck

Can you stretch your PSX frame with the mouse to fill the screen?

I think I'll change the layout file (9pack) with a text editor. It should work.
