Congratulations Hardy!
This is an amazing news. Shame it took for them this long to realize benefits of PSX. Rest of the World should follow ASAP.

Cheers,

Warmest congratulations, Hardy — a recognition that is long overdue!

I think this calls for an additional banner headline on the customer page of aerowinx.com?

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, but I'm currently in recovery mode after enthusiastically helping to celebrate my daughter's 50th birthday this weekend. (That was some party...!).

Cheers,

Next step ICAA :-) (Israeli Civil Aviation Administration)
I wonder how "easy" this will be. I read in Israeli light aviation forum that these guys love to complicate everything.

By the way, are you in contact with "Captain Boeing"?

Thank you, guys :-)

Avi, all this bureaucratic stuff is done within the airlines; the FAA inspects the training systems there. I just provide software modifications upon the airline's requests, i.e. I'm just in contact with the respective airline.

...I just provide software modifications...
That sounds really modest  :)

But we all know, that creating this piece of precious art work called PSX plus all modifications plus forum support was and still is hell of work.
I hope that this FAA approval is a very valuable "award" for you, honoring the days and nights for this gem.

Unfortunately I am too ignorant to fully understand what a "Systems Integration Trainer" exactly means, beyond the fact that airlines can offer certain trainings using PSX.

Anyways, you deserve it, congratulations!

Best regards, Holger

Gilad

You can add the Israeli ICAA to your list as well as it has recently approved the CAL Cargo Airlines 747-400 Flight Training Device based on the PSX software to be used for the Flat Panel Training stage of the initial 747-400 type rating!!!

I am late to the party, but indeed, huge congratulations are in order.
Knowing first-hand how painful working with a civil aviation administration can be, especially to certify new things, what you accomplished is no small feat.
It shows both the robustness and realism of your wonderful software.
I feel privileged being one of your customers.

you really deserved this approval.

I have been using precision simulator since ps1 in 1998 (20 years already), with as much fun.

We are all lucky to have a high level simulator at home.  Congratulations

FAA and ICAA, outstanding accomplishment. Congrats Hardy.

Sebastian
