I "declicked" those sounds. If you're interested in, I'm happy to share. And when you like them, feel free to publish them together with your addon.

Hi Hans - I have the same clicking on some of the files (mainly the taxi rolling sound and bumps) - was about to check if the issue was in the wav files themselves or maybe a symptom of overloading an input. Sound like it is in the wavs :D

Would love to have your declicked sounds if possible?

Thanks in advance.

oh yes! missed this, me too please.

- and btw - thanks for yet another essential add on for my psx setup Gary.(using psx.net.wasm , router, Bacars, Dispatch web services, ground services and now psx-vibrate driving a 2kw subwoofer)

Now that I am FINALLY done with the fullsize 744 cockpit mock up ( on 9 touchscreens) I can start to add all the nice addons and tweaks.

Thanks 🙏

Here we go, Gents!

Here's a cloud-link to the sound-set.

Gary, if you like it, feel free to add them to your installer!

Hello Gary

This is my second year using PSX VIBRATE, and everything feels so smooth and realistic! Especially the synchronization with PSX actions, it's absolutely stunning! I'm thinking we could possibly add an additional vibration: a subtle vibration for low speed and a more intense one for stalling. Not sure if Gary has time to add this small feature, but I believe these two vibrations would significantly enhance the realism of the PSX controls.
:p

Do you need to have buttkicker/bassshaker connected to separate sound card?

I run everything on a single PC and have currently only the integrated motherboard soundcard.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for this great addon, this will be my first time using the Buttkicker system. Is it the same connection if using one unit or the 4 corners system? Do I need the Buttkicker hapticonnect software/driver or the psxvibrate will be independant?

My apology for these questions. I just never had used any sim vibrate system before.

Regards,
Sam

All,

A small Hotfix is available here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rrobp59kehu6k3i2860p5/PSXVibrate_HotFix.zip?rlkey=mqjvbokha38shiy7zufvsw8qb&dl=1

which fixes a bug where the PSXVibrate isn't reading the turbulance values from PSX correctly.

This should give the correct bum jiggling in association with frankturb.

Cheers
Gary

Thank you for this great add-on, Gary!

I am trying the latest hotfix version, and for some reason the vibrate sends out intermittent turbulence rumble for what it seems to me every few seconds or so, despite the weather conditions. Even if PSX is completely paused this intermittent rumble is there and also visible in the PSXvibrate turbulence "meter" under the slider, so I wonder if it is even driven by the psx turbulence at all.

Is there any way to remove this "bump every few seconds when in flight" so that there would only be the bumps when theres some heavier/more constant chops?

Have you taken the latest version from the https://planning.simfest.co.uk/downloads page?

That should now tie in much better, it takes into account MSFS clouds and if the aircraft is in them

Hi Gary,

Yes, I did get that very latest version yet I still get that odd turbulence bump every few seconds whenever in flight.

So there's a bit of in flight wobbles when below FL150 but they should not be very dramatic

Tried various situations but for me there is always that "rumble" every few seconds regardless of altitude or weather conditions. In the vibrate software it says "high alt XX" or "low alt XX" where the XX represents a random number.

These are of course very specific things to everyones sim setup as hardware varies. For me it would be ideal if I can set the turbulence effect to be quite strong when actually flying in moderate/severe chops but to not have the effect "bump my butt" in smooth air every few seconds as it just seems off  :D

For now I just have to turn the effect off. Just wondering why is there that short turbulence sent every few seconds by PSX and if it would be possible to set the PSXvibrate to ignore that specific value.

I just mounted a ButtKicker Plus to my sim chair. Normal office chair, just clamped the BK onto the pneumatic cylinder. It definitely has enough bum-juggling potential.

As it has its own built-in USB sound card I use that and only send PSXVibrate's audio to the ButtKicker. Does this mean I don't need to care about the "Low Filter Cutout" button and "High Cutoff frequency" settings on the amp?

Anyone got a good starting point regarding amplifier volume and the individual PSX.NET Vibrate sliders?
