Hi,

if you are interested in: I put another update of my project and lot of photos online!

Amazing how real the MIP looks as soon as the displays and PSX are powered on!

Cheers

Hi Hans,

very nice hardware! Congratulations!

You know that you have LCD frames and that you can select the LCD EFIS symbology in PSX, and that this LCD symbology is different to the CRT symbology? :-)

The pictures look great, Hans! Thanks for the update. You're almost ready to fly. Is that an FDS 744 gear handle?

Hi Gentlemen,

thanks for your compliments  :D
But without PSX and Hardys hard work, I would never be at that level!!

@Hardy
yes I know. Thx! I will select the layout which gives me maximum visibility of instruments in my frames!

@Jon
yes! All is FDS except the switch guards. They are modified Honeywell guards. See part 2!

Cheers

Just a tip, Hans: Boeing's LCD layouts of the ND and PFD are slightly larger because the LCD box doesn't have the tube related limitations of the CRT box. If it's too large for your hardware frame, then it means your zoom setting is too large. The LCD symbology itself is correct. In the eyes of a perfectionist, the LCD/CRT mix looks a bit bizarre :-) Many of the close-up photos look so realistic; it's unbelievable (but the LCD/CRT mix eventually reveals it can't be real :-)).

Good point of view Hardy! Thx!

BUT keep in mind: the older I get, the more I need a larger zoom on my display!!  ;)

Amazing :) Hopefully i can get different screens as the ones I have don't fit correctly.

Hi Hans

Good job for your cockpit.  Your handcraft skill is superb.
I'm also interested in how you are going to install brake pressure gauge.

Hi,

thanks for all your comments!     :D

@GodAtum: the screens / displays I mentioned on my site are perfect for my FDS setup. So I'm sure you will find excellent displays for your setup! There are lots of different sizes available.

@Junji:
the Brake pressure gauge is a fake. Just a print. Exactly behind the brake gauge is my PFD/ND display. That's also the reason, why I had to realign the Brake Source indicator!

Cheers
