PFPX and FMC

hi,

I wonder if somebody could help in relation to PFPX and FMC

1) is there way to start a situation with the fmc blank i.e. no routes entered.

2) Also when  i plan a route and save to psx i can see the route in the route file but when you enter it on fmc under co route it says not in database .

Any ideas or i`m i being thick somewhere lol.
