I now believe this is another documentation error. This time in the BA AMM.

I also don't understand the RA display position change that the text mentions. I thought it is always located outside the AI or always inside the AI as per pin programming, and never changes. And: In the CRT version the RA moves with the RR, while in the LCD version it remains at the bottom of the AI (when pin programmed for "inside AI").

In the sense that is not applicable to BA aircraft? It may be applicable to other options/airlines. Singapore Airlines AMM has the same text, but I can't remember their options.

In any sense. -- Generally, or at least regarding BA.

I will remove the removal and wait until someone complains about the FPV not being removed.

Not seeing the FPV probably hurts more than seeing the FPV.

Motto: If you don't need it, don't look at it :-)
