Question regarding PFPX

Sorry if this post might sound out of place or in the wrong forum but since in the PFPX forum nobody was able to respond to my question I decided to give a try here.
Harry hope you don't mind.

My question is : what is the difference between International flight and Long Range flight in the Fuel policy screen, and the difference between the various type of operation of a flight ? (pag. 46 of the manual, second chapter)

Where I can see the differences and the parameters ?

Let say I want to plan a flight from LEMD to SCEL or a flight from SCEL to SVMI, where I can see and then decide which and why, I should choose International or Long Range ?
