Question regarding PS13 on WinXP

Hello everybody
this is my first post in this forum, so first of all I'd like to say hi to everyone :-)

a couple of days ago I "re-discovered" the wonderful 744 Simulator and installed it on my recent WinXP Notebook (using Hoppies Installer). Of course, all worked perfectly :-)

However, when I started the simulator I discovered that I have quite some "lag" in cockpit instruments (maybe 1-2 seconds) during voice speeches and i think i didnt have that in the past.

Does anybody have an idea how to resolve/minimize this effect ? I tried to play around with the options and when disabling "speech" it runs normally (smooth). Of course I prefer to activate sounds and speech :-) Might this be an issue of the soundcard or drivers then?

Help or experiences would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Ralf

Hi Hardy....

Quick question...I myself being an IT dummy, besides knowing basic stuff, need to ask you if the old PS 1.3 floppies can be copy to a CD so that I can reinstalled and fly again on Vista?  Are the floppies protected from copying?

As you know, nowadays is so hard to find a floppy drive...

I bought your product almost just under 7 years ago?

thanks

OK....I am ok, if you are ok...!!

Moin okd,

yes, the floppies can be copied to whatever medium.

7 years ago? I guess you have bought them on an auction or flea market? :-)
The floppies were sold out in 1997 already.
