Aviation Charts suitable for PSX

[Phil Bunch]

Is anyone successfully using Navigraph for their PSX flight sim charts?  I

'm only interested in charts that would be reasonably compatible with PSX, but I don't have the money for a professional (ie, Jeppesen) worldwide subscription.  Navigraph offers a Charts Desktop and a Charts Cloud annual subscription plan for "not too much money", especially when compared to professional aviation charting prices.

I also hope to be reasonably compatible in my charts with PFPX and its route planning.

Phil try Skyvector or Airnav. Charts are free and most are pdf you can print.

Phil, you can try out Navigraph for free before you make a decision to purchase. I personally find the loading time for the cloud based chart subscription to be very slow.

I'm quite fortunate to have a source for previous cycle Jepp charts on a fairly ad hoc basis which cover the long haul routes out of Thailand. I also have an active subscription to Navigraph . When I compare the two, the key information is the same and I find Navigraph does a good job. I'm not sure which navdata from Navigraph matches the data in PSX but I'd guess it's around 1407 so if you have that in PFPX you probably won't have too much of a mismatch and the Navigraph charts will be good too. If you've downloaded the ones you are likely to need, when updates become available you can always ignore them till the next PSX cycle rolls round?
